Brew Guide: Drip
What You Need:
- Electric Coffee Brewer
- Appropriate filters
- Digital scale
- Burr grinder (preferred for accuracy)
- Coffee [this recipe recommended for Medium Roast – may we suggest our First Tracks Blend]
Parameters:
Coffee: 55g
Water: 1.0 L (8 cups)
Ratio: 1:17
Grind Size: Medium
Step 1: Rinse Filter
Add a filter to the brew basket and rinse with hot water. This step is optional but will help eliminate any papery taste from the filter.
Step 2: Even Coffee Bed & Brew
Grind your coffee to a medium grind size. Add 55-60g of coffee (dependent on desired strength) to the brew basket. Gently shake the basket to even out and flatten your coffee bed.
Press the start button. Brew cycles times will vary by machine.
