Julio Palli has been growing for 6 years on his 0,5 hectares plot named Finca Bartolome. He is part of Agricafé’s ‘Sol de la Manana’ mentorship program since he began his farm and he has learned the best practices for nursery and farm management, plant nutrition, specialty harvesting, and biodiversity. Last year, he built a home on the farm and he now spends most of his days there rather than in the city. His daughter helps him with the picking of the cherries as well as maintaining the coffee nursery. Julio has high hopes that she will have her own farm in the future.
